    Responsibilities

    The Product Strategy team is responsible for leading the firm’s efforts to develop innovative product solutions that meet the evolving needs of the firm’s clients. Reporting to the Head of Product Strategy, this individual will be responsible for providing research to drive and support strategic product direction across multiple channels. We are seeking an entrepreneurial team member who thrives at the intersection of research and innovation.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Effectively working across teams to support building and executing investment products, including: product design, pricing, position and competitive intel.
    • Interprets and analyzes data to drive actionable insights for new products and modifications to existing ones offered.
    • Proactively identifies key forces impacting Adams Street and its competitors by researching, monitoring and assessing industry trends. Summarizes key findings in a concise and compelling format to partners and senior leaders.
    • Support M&A efforts by conducting ongoing industry review to identify potential acquisitions or lift-outs targets
    • Assists in developing rationale and support for strategic product planning and executes on tactical product initiatives.
    • Supports internal teams with initiatives as requested.

    Qualifications

    We seek an individual who is self-motivated, demonstrates creative thinking and possesses the following qualifications:

    • Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier university.
    • 3-5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in private equity, investment banking, or investment consulting, with a focus on supporting the development and launch of new products/product analytics.
    • Proven ability to constantly take initiative and deliver results.
    • Exceptional organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong and well developed analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills. Data gathering and data analysis skills a must.
    • Results oriented and exceptional attention to detail.
    • An understanding of trends and current events in the private markets space.
    • A professional presence combined with exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external parties.
